62-66 has a higher oil content, so e.g. we recommend it for impregnating wood - but it's also great for candles, of course! :)
The rest (especially 57-59) are specially recommended for candles.
For carved candles, we recommend 52-54 and 54-56, they have a lower oil content and a lower melting point.
The numbers of the paraffins indicate their melting point.
62-66
A kind of "entry-level" product for hobby-level candle pouring, which will quickly become your best friend! :)
Since it has a higher oil content than all other paraffins (%(m/m, max. 1.50), it sometimes happens that when it is overheated or mixed with other substances (dyes, essential oils), crystal-like spots can form on it.
It's not that common, but based on experience so far you can run into it, so definitely take this feature into account if you decide to use it! (Some people look for this directly because they want a more special effect)
Many beautiful candles have been made from it, including all the little residents of Hubbsala, so Talpigpracli absolutely recommends it! :)
Characteristics: it consists of white, slightly translucent, smaller, chubbier (thicker), rounder lozenges.

She is the queen of paraffins!

Color: white, slightly translucent, outwardly with larger grains, flat (we could also say slim ;), consists of slightly egg-like lozenges, in shape it is as if the 62-66 had been flattened :)
Most professional candle pourers use this type because it heats up quickly and gives a perfect end result.
It is not characterized by spotting at all.
52-54 and 54-56
We especially recommend it to candle carvers!
Unfortunately, the production of the 52-54 has ceased, so these are discontinued products :(
We still have quite a few boxes of them, as well as many unboxed pieces that are a bit dirty on the outside, and we have cleaned them. There is no problem with the boards (the paraffin itself), they do not deteriorate, approx. eternal life + 2 days! :D
